IMC Exploration Group Plc is pleased to provide the following update on the company's continuing exploration focus for gold and base metal mineralisation in Co Wexford and Co Wicklow in Ireland.
Following on from the previously announced positive drilling campaign in recent months in Wexford, drilling activity has now intensified in the south-western part of Wexford licence PL 2551 at Boley, near Camolin.
The present drill hole, No. 4, is situated approximately 5km along the strike area from the earlier drill hole No. 2 undertaken at Ballygarrett where enhanced values of gold, silver, lead and zinc were reported by IMC in September.
Dr. Glenn Millar commented: "After the excellent results from recent drilling on our Wexford prospecting licence area, IMC is now committed to forging ahead with the drilling program in order to establish and define the limits of a viable mineral resource in the area."
